I Purchased Before License Keys Existed – How Do I Get My Key?

If you purchased PhraseVault before we introduced the license key system, your purchase is still fully valid. When you upgrade to a version that requires a license key, you can easily retrieve your key.

How to Get Your License Key

1. Visit our license recovery page
2. Enter the email address you used for your original purchase
3. Click Send Recovery Email
4. Check your inbox for an email containing your license key(s)

Your license key will be generated automatically based on your original purchase. One key per seat you purchased.

What Changed?

We moved from a trust-based "honesty system" to cryptographically signed license keys. This change:

• Protects your purchase – Your license is now verifiable and recoverable
• Works offline – No internet connection needed after activation
• Respects your privacy – No tracking, no telemetry, no phone-home
