If you bought PhraseVault® before license keys existed, your purchase is still valid, and buyers of version 2.x get version 3.0 included. PhraseVault 4.0 is free for every existing license holder after you accept the SPQRK Software License Version 1.2 on first start. Auto-paste keeps working on that purchase. Entering a key is still recommended. Retrieve the key with the email address you used at purchase.
How to get your license key
- Open the license recovery page.
- Enter that email address.
- Click Send License Key.
- Check your inbox and your spam folder.
The form resends keys already associated with your purchase email, including all keys if you bought several licenses. If no key arrives or you can no longer access that email address, contact us with your purchase details below.
In the app
You may see Get My License Key, Enter License Key, and Remind Me Later. Get My License Key opens this form. Enter License Key opens Settings, where you paste the PV- key and click Activate. Remind Me Later closes the prompt for now.
You can recover the key when you move to a new computer, and activation does not need an internet connection. PhraseVault doesn't phone home or send telemetry. Devices, transfers, and later major versions are covered in how licensing works.
