Since 2013, I've worked directly with small and mid-sized businesses — at their desks, in their offices, watching how they actually work. One thing I see at nearly every company: people have no central place to store their essential day-to-day information. They're searching for their VAT ID every time an invoice needs it. They're hunting for the company IBAN whenever a bank transfer comes up. Simple things that should take seconds end up costing minutes, over and over again.

Customer support and email were even messier. I saw teams typing the same responses from scratch, manually writing unsubscribe replies, and drafting identical messages day after day. The wasted time was staggering — and the inconsistency was even worse.

I tried every solution I could find. I tested the major text expander apps on the market. I experimented with scripting tools like AutoHotkey. But everything I tried had the same problem: too much friction. Steep learning curves, complex interfaces, trigger phrases to memorize — these tools were built for power users, not for the office worker who just needs to paste an IBAN.

So I built PhraseVault. One shortcut to open it. Type to search. Press Enter to paste. No trigger phrases to memorize, no complicated setup. Just a fast, simple way to store, find, and insert the text you use every day.
